because of this weather forecast (heavy snow 5-9" followed by highs of 12-14 degrees) and also I'm on the downside of a really rotten winter cold. And I just can't picture myself hangin' out with a bunch of stranded people like myself at some airport over christmas. I've spent worse but that's not my idea of fun.
